How waterproof boxes Work?
When using a waterproof box, for the non-gel version, start by inspecting the integrity of the sealing ring and disconnecting the power source to avoid potential hazards. Next, thread the wire through the entry hole and insert it into the terminal block, ensuring that the pins are properly aligned. Secure the connection using the screws on the terminal block. Once the connection is complete, tighten the cover of the entry hole and carefully check the sealing ring and housing to ensure there are no leaks.
Finally, reconnect the power source to restore normal operation to the equipment. For the gel-filled version, after the terminals are correctly connected, simply place the connection in the center of the box, close the lid, and allow the gel to act as a barrier, encapsulating the connection and providing moisture protection. Be cautious when handling the connectors to prevent damage or electrical connection issues. Properly operating and maintaining a waterproof box is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of electronic equipment in wet environments.
